Metallica confirmed the existence of the Death Magnetic special-edition "coffin box"; on their official website. The contents of the box pretty much match up with those that a Norwegian music site posted last week: the actual album, an additional disc full of demos, a making-of DVD, an exclusive T-shirt, guitar picks, a flag and a fold-out poster. Plus, the box will come with a "collectors credit card"; embossed with a code you can use to download "a special European show happening in September."; Details about the show and the actual release date of Death Magnetic will be announced soon. And as you can guess, the entire package is housed in a box that's shaped like a coffin. The set won't be available in stores, so you'll have to get in virtual line at Mission: Metallica in order to claim the set.
