Eine Frage an euch User der Endstufe 2502:

Ist euer Lüfter auch so laut?
Ich habe seit kürzerer Zeit diese Endstufe und ich finde, der Lüfter ist wirklich sehr laut im Vergleich zu anderen Amps die ich kenne.

Wollte mal hören, ob euch das auch aufgefallen ist und ob das normal ist.

Was meint ihr?

Ich hab die 2-90-2 und fand den Lüfter auch grottig laut. Ich hatte da auch schon mit Steve Fryette persönlich drüber gesprochen. Er sagt halt, dass er seine Geräte so auslegt, dass sie auch die ganze Zeit unter Vollast unter ungünstigen Bedingungen sicher funktionieren und daher hat er einen Lüfter mit diesem Luftvolumen ausgewählt.

Ich hab dann einen leisen Papst-Lüfter eingebaut (Modell 8880N). Der ist schön leise, hat aber zugegebenermassen nicht ganz den Luftdurchsatz. Ich spiele aber auch nicht im Entferntesten die ganze Zeit volle Pulle und komm damit gut klar.

Es ist ja leider ein 230V-Lüfter, da ist die Auswahl gerade an leisen Modellen nicht sooo gross wie zB bei den Computer-Lüftern...

Ok, dann scheint es normal so zu sein, dass die Lüfter so einen 'Lärm' machen.
Dafür macht die Endstufe ja auch schön Lärm *lach

Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass nur ein Techniker so einen Lüftertausch durchführen kann und dass die Garantie erlischt, wenn man das Gerät 'umbaut'?

Das mit der Garantie wird wahrscheinlich so sein. Aber wenn man zwei Kabel miteinander verlöten kann und weiss, wie rum man einen Schraubenzieher halten muss, ist da nicht viel "Raketenwissenschaft" dran...

NAMM ANAHEIM 2009: The show was a blast. I'd like to thank everyone for stopping by the booth and expressing your support. Regarding the posted NAMM video, I need to say that playing with a camera in my face, isn't my favorite thing---- especially after a classic NAMM-style-night-on-the-town with the Voodoo Lab guys, 'nuf said. The video interviewer is Dmitri, our distributor in Russia...me, just trying to get through the surprise video ambush (and hoping someone would hand me an aspirin and a glass of water)!

THE WEBSITE: We've been shooting all new photos this week for the new FRYETTE website and are updating all of the product info, specifications, manuals, etc... Expect to see a long overdue site overhaul soon - great pics, detailed specs, easy navigation, new clips from some killer players, and eventually, more of the "elliptical ramblings".

DRIVE, DEDICATION & EXPERIENCE: Our mission has never had and never will have anything to do with ownership of tone or whatever anyone may consider to be boutique style. We have never considered ourselves to be a "boutique" company and we have never adorned ourselves with the pretense of boutique values - point to point wiring, finger-jointed cabinets - or any other nostalgia-inducing bullet points marketing people use to try to convince us that there must be some mystical magic that only certain gifted savants can posses. It is well established that we have never offered vintage clones or repackaged designs created by others, and never will. In dem Video das sind die Amps, die jetzt seit NEUEM unter dem Namen VHT verkaufen werden, quasi AXL Amps...

Ich denke inzwischen sollte hier klar sein, dass es noch keine neuen Amps von Ex-VHT Gibt, sondern nur die alten (Ultralead, Deliverance, Sig:X) unter dem neuen Namen Fryette.

Und nein, diese Amps auf denen jetzt VHT steht sind quasi keine VHTs, da sie nicht von Mr. Fryette stammen.

Manche haben anscheinend Probleme, diese Namensänderung zu durchschauen^^

Genau so meinte ich das.

Das fiese daran ist, das es passieren wird, das sich jemand so einen Amp kauft, in dem glauben, einen echten VHT zu erstehen. Bis irgendjemand sagt: Ööööhmmm, is ja 'n schöner Amp, aber...

Da hätte ich wirklich keinen Bock drauf.

Ich weiss ja nicht, was da tatsächlich vorgefallen ist. Aber wenn die Namensrechte der Preis dafür sind, dass er jetzt weiter seine Amps wie bisher bauen kann, na mein Gott! - dann steht eben "Fryette" drauf.

Sehe ich absolut genau so ... Stevie Fryette = Class Act!

Die AXL=VHT klingen aber auch nicht verkehrt.
Aber ob das mit dem Namen für AXL aufgeht glaube ich nicht.

Ich finde die Kamera is vom Sound gar nich so beschissen und man kann mit ordentlichen Boxen am Rechner, den Sound schon halbwegs erahnen.

Nicht übel, aber du hättest es vllt. aus High Quality Video uppen sollen, dann ist der Sound bei Youtube merklich besser!
