Kurzweil PC3 2.04.17511
Release notes
New Feature:
Quick Access Mode now allows to save/recall 16 MIDI state user presets. What's the MIDI state? By MIDI state we mean the values of the MIDI CCs 0-95 in the 16 MIDI channels. So, in the QA main page, by pressing and holding during aprox. 2 seconds any of the CATEGORY buttons you will save the value of the MIDI CCs at that particular moment. Then, to recall those values, just by pressing that same button the machine will apply all those values instantly (NOTE: Only internally, those values will not go thru the MIDI OUTs). You can store all your MIDI state presets via STORAGE MODE - EXPORT - MIDIST and you can load a .MST file via regular LOAD.
Why this? Well, there are several Third parties that have developed packages with programs/setups that are like templates that help users create new sounds normally by modifying MIDI CCs, with the problem of how to save those sounds that are created thru experimentation by using not one but possible multiple setups, for example. Well with this new feature they have a way to store 16 Presets and share them with the world in a very easy way.
Bug fixes:
- Buffer overrun when Velocity Pattern is assigned to a controller and the Master Display is set to Controllers.
- KPN: Program Drum Remap now admits all the possible value (allowing Sound Tower proper editing)
- Bug fix: Random boot up with unit pitched.
- Boot up with 0 None program allowed (again).
- Memory corruption issues.
- Improved K-programs conversion.
- Setup Notemaps 1/4, 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4 now working properly.
- Program New Layer now imports first layer of DEFAULT PROGRAM (999) properly now.
- Intuitive Entry in Program Edit DSPCTL page left column if the field is a Key+Frequency now working.
- Crash in Storage Mode - Utils - Delete page if moving the scroll wheel in the confirmation page.
- Arp with Shift Amount starting in the correct note, not in the note+shift amount already.
- Arp: Velocity pattern Delete if it is not user pattern was taking you to the Shift Pattern.
- In Master Mode, PROGRAM3 was also executing PROGRAM4 button.
