Hallo Leute,
hier
a) die Antwort vom TC-Support für diejenigen, die das auch wissen wollten:
The delay in preset change has always been there in G-force. The reason for this is due to one of the main advantage of the G-force : Its total flexibility in the routing. Since you can change the routing at any preset change, including the order of the blocks and how they are placed in the matrix (serial or parallel), the unit clears the DSP and reloads all parameters at each preset change. Depending on how much must be loaded, the gap can go up to 1 second, before allowing the signal to pass again.
There is no way to avoid that, except some workarounds :
If a preset change must be very fast, try to have the same blocks and routing in both presets, and just bypass or enable the blocks when needed -
Example :
preset 1 :comp + reverb
preset 2 - chorus + delay + reverb
Create both presets with all blocks
comp + chorus + delay + reverb
Use the same routing for both.. i.e.
Comp + Chorus
Delay
reverb
where Chorus, delay and reverb are parallel to each other, but in serial after Comp.
In preset 1, bypass Chorus and delay
In preset 2, bypass Comp
Hopefully the reverb has the same parameters ion preset 1 and 2
The preset change should be faster"
