Das war mir klar. Dann muss er uns sagen ob er schon was gemacht hat.

Einen BC3 habe ich ja selber, aber meine Geräte können den direkt ab.

Wenn ich richtig liege, muss man dazu zumindest vorübergehend MIDI-OUT vom Korg mit MIDI-IN vom Solution verbinden, um letzteren vom Korg aus per SysEx-Befehlen programmieren zu können.
Wie das allerdings vom Korg aus zu bewerkstelligen ist, konnte ich beim (flüchtigen) Überfliegen des Manuals nicht ergründen.

Ich habe mir das Korg-Handbuch nicht angesehen, aber ich befürchte, daß das Programmieren vom Keyboard aus möglicherweise gar nicht machbar ist.

Auf der MIDI-Solutions-homepage steht ganz klar, wie es geht. Leider scheint es noch keine Software für den BC-Controller zu geben (siehe Fettdruck), so daß man da einiges "von Hand" machen muß.

Q: How do I set up the products for the function I need if they don't have any buttons or switches on them?

A: MIDI Solutions products are programmed by sending them MIDI System Exclusive messages. All that's needed to do this is a computer with a MIDI interface - the Edirol UM-1EX, Edirol UM-2EX, Yamaha UX16, and M-Audio Uno are low cost USB MIDI interfaces that can be used for this purpose (avoid the MIDI interfaces on this list). The computer is required only to program the MIDI Solutions products, once they have been programmed the computer is no longer necessary - the products retain their settings and can be inserted wherever they are needed in your MIDI setup.

Most of the MIDI Solutions products can be programmed with Programming Tools software for Windows (see here for Mac workaround). The software creates the System Exclusive programming commands automatically as the settings are selected from pull-down menus. Even if you haven't yet purchased a MIDI Solutions product the software is available free for download, it's quick to install and simple to navigate - spending a few minutes with it is an excellent way to familiarize yourself with the products.

The Programming Tools software is not yet available for the MIDI Solutions Pedal Controller, Breath Controller, and Special Function products, however SendSX is a very easy to use freeware utility for Windows that allows the System Exclusive messages to be typed in and sent to those products. If you are using a Mac and cannot run SendSX, you can email us at support@midisolutions.com and we'll send you a reply with a Standard MIDI File to play into the product to program it to your specification.

Finally, if you would rather not program the unit yourself, we can preprogram it to your specification for a $20 fee (please allow an additional week for delivery of preprogrammed products). However since programming the unit is quite easy we always suggest to customers to purchase a USB MIDI interface and do it themselves if possible - a low cost MIDI USB interface can be purchased for around $40 USD, and if you ever decide you would like to change the settings you have the means to do so at your disposal. You may also find that the MIDI interface comes in handy for the odd MIDI task from time to time.

Ich habe mir das Korg-Handbuch nicht angesehen, aber ich befürchte, daß das Programmieren vom Keyboard aus möglicherweise gar nicht machbar ist.

Das Solution an den PC hängen und dann mit MIDI-OX die passenden SysEx-Daten senden könnte doch ev. funktionieren.
Setzt allerdings wieder eine "richtige" MIDI-Schnittstelle am Rechner voraus.

Fehlt noch der passende String...

Ja, mit derlei programmen sollte das machbar sein, aber man muß es eben "von Hand" machen, was nicht gerade komfortabel ist und man muß auch wissen was man tut.


Ich persönlich finde es schon eine einigermaßen derbe Frechheit, so ein Gerät auf den Markt zu bringen, welches man selbst programmieren muß, aber keine Software zur Programmierung mitzuliefern.

hallo leute, ich danke an allen die mir versucht haben zu helfen,ich habe es selber raus gefunden wo das problem war.Meine frage sollte eigentlich zu euch so sein:wie kann man breathcontroller steuern oder wie muss mann damit umgehen, ich wusste nicht das, ich während pussten auf die tasten drücken müsste und gleichzeitig an den regler drehen musste.Ich spiele 6 instrumente violine-saz-gitare- darbuka-klarinette keyboard ich habe keyboard schon immer spielen können mit 5 habe ich angefangen dan kam die türkische saz uns........(woher sollte ich wissen wie mann es steuert die instrumente die ich spiele haben so was nicht)
zu meiner undeutliche schrift muss,ich sagen das war weil ich im panik war,wisst ihr ich wollte das ding wirklich gegen die wand schmeissen ich wollte es demolieren, ich war ungedultig und ich habe nicht nach gelesen was ich geschrieben habe sonst habe ich mit deutsch kein problem bin in deutschland geboren und aufgewachsen.ich danke wirklich an allen nochmal die versucht haben mir zu helfen das hat mich sehr gefreut. und jetzt nun die nächste frage :ich wolle machen diese wie machen program einen diese zu korg,heheheheheheheheh spass
kann ich auch mit dam breathcontroller auch pitchen geht das?

Du kannst eigentlich alles machen mit dem Breathcontroller. Das Midisolutendingen sendet ja, oder der Korg macht darauf eine Controllernummer. Wenn du die entsprechend zuweist, kannst du eigentlich alle Midisteuerbaren Sachen damit steuern.
