Der ein oder andere hat vielleicht schon mal was ihnen gehört, immerhin sind sie im nächsten Jahr nun schon fast 20 Jahre „On Tour“, trotzdem werden sie hierzulande nicht so recht wahrgenommen, Over the Rhine. OtR, das ist eigentlich ein Ehepaar, Linford Detweiler (Piano, Gitarre, Bass) und Karin Bergquist (vocals/Gitarre). Der Name kommt von ihrem Wohnort, Over the Rhine ist ein Stadtteil von Cincinnati, OH. Habe mir gerade eine ihrer neueren CD’s zugelegt, Trumpet Child, m.E. ein sehr gelungenes, dichtes Werk.
