Epiphone Blueshawk Deluxe: Featuring new P-90 PRO™ Single Coil Pickups plus 6-position Rotary VariTone™ .

Epiphone presents the new Blueshawk Deluxe, the long awaited return of an original classic first introduced in the 90s that’s been a connoisseur’s favorite ever since. The Blueshawk Deluxe features the upper bout curve and cutaway of a Les Paul but with the semi-hollowbody design and small f-holes of an archtop. The result is one of the most versatile and distinctive guitars anywhere. And now the Epiphone Blueshawk Deluxe features new P-90 PRO™ Single Coil pickups plus a6-position Rotary VariTone™.

The Epiphone Blueshawk Deluxe features a Mahogany body with a contoured back and a Maple top with a AAA Flame Maple Veneer. Both the body and the neck feature single-ply cream binding. The Blueshawk comes in three beautiful color finishes—Midnight Sapphire, Translucent Black, and Wine Red.

The Mahogany neck has a classic Epiphone SlimTaper™ D-shape profile with a 25.5” scale. The Blueshawk Deluxe has a smooth Rosewood fretboard with pearloid “Diamond” inlays, a 12” radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets. The f-holes and semi-hollowbody construction along with the “Les Paul” style cutaway make the Blueshawk Deluxe well balanced and easy to play with exceptional tone and range for chords and leads.

New P-90 PRO™ Pickups: The Epiphone Blueshawk Deluxe features new P-90 PRO™ single coil pickups. The P-90 PROs™ follow in the footsteps of the critically acclaimed ProBuckerTM humbuckers and both are part of Epiphone’s PRO™ series featuring old style construction materials for boutique sound that anyone can afford.

The Blueshawk Deluxe features a P-90R PRO™ Single Coil in the neck position and a

P-90T PRO™ Single Coil in the lead position. Inside the body, there’s a hum-cancelling "dummy" coil mounted between the pickups to provide hum reduction when the neck or bridge pickups are used alone. The pickups are controlled by the now classic Blueshawk 3-position pickup selector slide.

Epiphone P-90 PRO™ single coil pickups have been designed and tooled from the ground up with new bobbins manufactured to historic dimensions, Elektrisola magnet wire, sand cast Alnico V magnets, and pole shoes manufactured using correct alloys to original classic Gibson dimensions. And for you sticklers to detail, the new Epiphone
P-90 PROs™ also have tin plated brass base plates like those used on 50s and 60s era Gibson P-90 pickups.

6 position Rotary VariTone™: Along with exceptional power, the Blueshawk Deluxe also offers one-of-a-kind tonal flexibility. The 6-position Rotary VariTone™ provides a player with a wide tonal palette unavailable on most other instruments. The Varitone circuit is a "notch" filter that uses a range of capacitors to achieve a reduction in frequencies at set points within the BluesHawk's overall frequency spectrum. As the VariTone™ control is rotated from position 1 to position 6 the center frequency of the filter shifts from higher to lower frequencies. In position 1 the filter is removed from the circuit. Controls include a Master Volume and a Master Tone with an easy to access Push/Pull VariTone™ True Bypass. The Epiphone Blueshawk Deluxe features a fully-adjustable Epiphone nickel bridge with a string-thru body design for incredible sustain. Tuning and intonation is made easy thanks to Epiphone Deluxe machine heads with a pro quality 18:1 tuning ratio. An optional hard case is also available.

Like all Epiphones, the new Epiphone Blueshawk Deluxe comes with Epiphone’s Limited Lifetime Warranty and world famous 24/7/365 Gibson Customer Service. Visit your Authorized Epiphone Dealer today and re-discover the collector’s favorite Epiphone Blueshawk Deluxe!

Gary Clark Signature Details....

Gary Clark Jr. "Blak & Blu" Casino: Available with a Trapeze Tailpiece or Bigsby® Vibrato!

Epiphone is proud to present the debut of GRAMMYTM winner Gary Clark Jr’s premier signature model, the Epiphone Gary Clark Jr. “Blak & Blu” Casino, available with either a traditional trapeze tailpiece or the legendary Bigsby ® Vibrato B70 Vibrato.

Gary Clark Jr. is one of the most exciting performers of our generation with a totally original style that fuses rock, pop, acoustic and electric blues styles, and rhythm & blues into a sound all his own that has made him a living legend to both music fans and musicians. Gary Clark Jr. is everywhere—on tour with the Rolling Stones and on stage with Eric Clapton or at the White House. But no matter where he’s playing, he’s never seen without his favorite guitar, an Epiphone Casino. Now, Clark has joined with Epiphone to commemorate his debut major label album, Blak & Blu, with a classic Casino design featuring Gibson USA P-90 pickups in a one of a kind Blak & Blu Burst color finish.

“I pretty much knew from day one that I needed a few things for my arsenal and the Epiphone Casino is the one guitar that always stood out,” said Clark. “Getting my first Casino changed my life. And my new Epiphone “Blak & Blue” Casinos are amazing guitars. They're a dream. I love ‘em!”

Classic Casino Style: The Casino has changed little since its initial debut in 1961. And for his premier signature guitar, Clark chose to keep the same classic Casino body shape and style that nearly all Casinos have shared since the early 60s. “I like the way Epiphone Casinos play right off the shelf,” said Clark. “To be honest, the original prototype of the new “Blak & Blue” was perfect as-is.”

Clark’s new Signature “Blak & Blu” Casino is a Laminated Maple, 5-ply (Maple/Birch) hollowbody, the source of the Casino’s legendary chimey tones and easily controllable gritty feedback. The body is finished in Clark’s custom new “Blak & Blu” Burst color finish with single-ply white binding around the top and back. The Mahogany neck has 22 medium jumbo frets and a 1960's SlimTaper™ D Profile that’s inspired by the best vintage Casino’s in Epiphone’s collection. Like vintage models, the neck joint is glued to the body at the 16th fret.

The scale length is a standard 24.75” with a Rosewood fingerboard with pearloid "Parallelogram" inlays. The smooth fingerboard has single-ply white binding and a 14” radius. The sloped dovetail headstock, seen on virtually all Epiphone archtops since the early 60s, has a 2-ply (White/Black) "Bell" shaped truss rod cover with a vintage "E" in white and 1.68” nut. Though the Casino is a hollowbody, it’s perfectly balanced in size and sound. It’s easy to summon your own brand of dynamics on any size stage and at any volume.

Gibson U.S.A. P-90s: The P-90 single coil pickup first appeared in the late 40s in archtops made at the now- legendary Gibson & Epiphone factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan where the Casino was first designed in the early 60s. P-90s were originally intended as a powerful yet sensitive jazz guitar pickup. But they truly found their voice in the Epiphone Casino starting in 1961. The thinline style body of the Casino, combined with the P-90’s mighty Alnico magnets, have perhaps powered more GRAMMYs and more groundbreaking recordings than any other pickup—from The Beatles and Rolling Stones to Oasis and Radiohead and now Gary Clark Jr.

Clark’s new Epiphone “Blak & Blue” Casino features the same legendary Gibson P-90 pickups, wound with the same attention to detail as the handmade originals with a P-90R in the rhythm position and a P-90T in the lead. Both “Blak & Blue” P-90s pickups are powered by standard Casino controls for volume and tone with a high quality Swithcraft™ 3-way toggle with a white cap and black washer. Like all Epiphone instruments, the Casino’s electronics come with Epiphone’s Limited Lifetime Guarantee for smooth and reliable use night after night.

Serious Epiphone Hardware: Epiphone leads the industry in making sure all of its instruments feature the highest quality hardware. The “Blak & Blue”nickel bridge is an ABR™ Tune-o-matic and Grover® Rotomatics™ 18:1 ratio machine heads make for easy and precise intonation. The Gary Clark Jr. Blak & Blu Casino also comes with the option of either a Trapeze tailpiece or the legendary Bigsby™ B70 Vibrato tailpiece.

Each Epiphone Gary Clark Jr. “Blak & Blu” Casino also comes with a Hand Signed Certificate of Authenticity, a Presentation Binder with Photograph, and Epiphone’s 100% Limited Lifetime Guarantee and 24/7/365 Gibson Customer Service. Two optional cases are also available--a black Epiphone Standard Hard Case or a grey 1960s Style Vintage Hard Case. See your Epiphone dealer for details.

Details für die Tommy Thayer White Lightning

Ltd. Ed. Tommy Thayer "White Lightning” Les Paul Outfit: Featuring Seymour Duncan® JB™ Humbuckers.

Epiphone presents the Ltd. Ed. Tommy Thayer "White Lightning” Les Paul Outfit, Epiphone’s second Les Paul collaboration with one of the most exciting guitarists on the planet, Tommy “Spaceman” Thayer of KISS.

In 2014, Epiphone’s Tommy Thayer Ltd. Ed. “Spaceman” Les Paul Standard Outfit was an instant success. Now for 2015, Tommy is back with another one-of-a-kind Les Paul design, the Ltd. Ed. Tommy Thayer "White Lightning Les Paul Outfit featuring a beautiful custom finish and Seymour Duncan® JB™ Humbuckers especially chosen by Tommy himself along with a custom hard case.

"My new White Lightning signature model is the pinnacle of looks, style and flash,” says Tommy. “I'm proud to put my name on a serious guitar that can be enjoyed at home or rock the biggest stages in the world."

There has never been an American rock and roll band like KISS, recognized by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as one of the greatest trailblazing rock bands of all time. And Tommy “Spaceman” Thayer’s life story is the classic tale of a musician who knew from childhood that his future was on stage, playing a Les Paul.

Thayer has been part of the KISS family since 1985 as a songwriter and guitarist, working behind-the-scenes at rehearsals and on studio demos. Finally, in 2002, Tommy became a full-fledged member, joining KISS on stage as the iconic “Spaceman” and giving the rock legends an explosive new sound and attitude. Now with the new Ltd. Ed. "White Lightning” Les Paul Outfit, Tommy is ready to rock with a new sound and a killer new Les Paul.

The Dream of Les Paul: Just as Tommy Thayer always dreamed of playing a Les Paul on stage, so did the guitar’s inventor, Mr. Les Paul, dream of making a guitar that could “sustain for days.” Les, or the Wizard of Waukesha as friends called him, set out to revolutionize the world of guitar in the early 1940s. And the factory where Les chose to design his ground breaking guitar? Epiphone! Working late at night at the Epiphone factory on 14th Street in New York City with the support of long time friend and Epiphone founder, Epi Stathopoulo, Les’s early solid body guitar experiments eventually led to the iconic Les Paul Standard we know today. Over 50 years since it first appeared, the Les Paul Standard remains one of the most sought-after guitars in the world. And now, Epiphone once again has collaborated with one of modern rock’s greatest lead guitarists, Tommy Thayer, to make the Ltd. Ed. Tommy Thayer "White Lightning Les Paul Outfit.

Modern Look, Classic Sound: The Epiphone Ltd. Ed. Tommy Thayer "White Lightning” Les Paul Outfit features a solid Mahogany body and a plain Maple Veneer Top finished in beautiful Metallic White with a chrome colored pickguard, all chosen by Tommy. The body also has 7-ply (pure white and black) binding on the top and single-ply pure white binding on the fingerboard.

Tommy’s new Les Paul has a Mahogany body that delivers the classic tone and sustain that all true Les Pauls are known for. The 1960s SlimTaper™ “D” profile Mahogany neck has a deep-set, glued-in neck joint, a 24.75” scale length, 22 medium jumbo frets, and a 1.68" nut. The headstock has "Tommy Thayer” engraved on a chrome/metal truss rod cover and a Ltd. Ed. 'White Lightning" Logo on the back of the headstock.

Like all Epiphone Les Paul Standards, the Ltd. Ed. Tommy Thayer "White Lightning” Les Paul features a 14-degree headstock that gives you more pressure at the nut (in matching white!) for more sustain with less tuning hang-ups caused by “string-tree” gadgets. The Rosewood fingerboard has a 12” radius and pearloid trapezoid inlays. And the hand-set neck delivers outstanding string-to-body resonance while the medium-jumbo frets add to the smooth and sustained tone.

Seymour Duncan® Humbuckers: Seymour Duncan is world renown as one of the foremost experts in electric pickups. And for his "White Lightning” Les Paul, Tommy choose two outstanding Seymour Duncan® JB™ Humbuckers. Seymour Duncan® JB™ Humbuckers are the original archetype hot-rod humbucker and one of Duncan’s earliest and most revered designs. For over 30 years, Les Paul fans have loved JB™ Humbuckers, which are great for everything from heavy blues to heavy metal.

The neck pickup features a covered JB™ humbucker with chrome mounting rings while the bridge pickup features an open-coil JB™ Humbucker with white bobbins. Controls are standard Les Paul style volume and tone potentiometers with white "Top Hats" with metal pointers.

Legendary Epiphone Hardware: The Ltd. Ed. Tommy Thayer "White Lightning” Les Paul Outfit features Epiphone’s legendary rock solid nickel hardware including a locking Tune-o-matic™ fully adjustable bridge and a StopBar tailpiece, still a classic after 50 years. And now, Epiphone’s updated, patent pending design auto-locks the bridge and tailpiece in place with no tools needed for the kind of sustain that Mr. Les Paul always imagined possible.
The Ltd. Ed. Tommy Thayer "White Lightning” Les Paul Outfit uses 1” diameter potentiometers for better “throw,” longer life, and reliable service. Epiphone’s all-metal 3-way toggle switch uses rugged spring-steel contacts to ensure years of reliable service and performance and Epiphone’s proprietary output jack features an improved contact shape and heavy-duty spring steel to increase reliability. Tommy’s new “White Lightning” comes pro Grover® Rotomatics™ machine heads with a superb 18:1 tuning ratio. And last but not least, the “White Lightning” has its own matching custom hard case in a White Lightning Pure White finish.

Custom Hard Case and Certificate of Authenticity: Epiphone’s Ltd. Ed. Tommy Thayer "White Lightning Les Paul Outfit comes with an “Inspired by” Custom Studded Leather Strap just like Tommy’s original, a Hand Signed Certificate of Authenticity, a binder with certificate and official photograph, and Epiphone’s customary accessories including a user’s manual, Epiphone poster, Epiphone bumper sticker, and truss rod wrench.

Lifetime Warranty: Like all Epiphone instruments, the Ltd. Ed. Tommy Thayer "White Lightning Les Paul Outfit comes with the security of Epiphone’s Limited Lifetime Warranty and Gibson 24/7/365 Customer Service. Visit your favorite Authorized Epiphone Dealer and make some Hall of Fame-worthy rock of your own with the new Ltd. Ed. Tommy Thayer "White Lightning Les Outfit.

was davon in Serie geht.
