Verse 1:
Nadia was a pretty pretty girl
She lived in a gray tower block
Along with her family
She had such mind-blowing black hair
That if she showed it openly
Every lad would tip over
Now that the neighborhood was talkative
Everybody dropped by to see
Nadia and her hair
Verse 2:
As a matter of fact
No lad no girl has seen so far
What Nadia's hair is like
To the surprise of everyone
She put an oddly looking piece
Of cotton on her hair
What started as curiosity
Turned out into excitement
The neighborhood came together
Verse 3:
Pretty pretty Nadia, her long black hair
And now this strange piece of cotton
Sitting peacefully in her room
The mob was gathering around
The gray tower block
Shouting 'Nadia, please, we've come to see you'
Humming her favourite tune from the radio
She took her silly piece of cotton
And went down to say hello
Verse 4:
'Hello Nadia, we've come to see you
Would you please take that off?
You know, we want to see your hair'
But pretty pretty Nadia liked it a lot
So she declined and gave them a smile
Turning her back against the mob
6 steps and it was done
For an oddly piece of cotton
Nadia's beautiful black hair became red
Refrain:
Nadia, beautiful Nadia
Oh Nadia, Nadia
Please don't cry
