Oakland brand belongs to Matsumoku. My experience is that they are very well built guitars, but not that good in wood raw material and electronics quality (1st and 2nd pictures from my previous post). These two are the same in materials, only the form is different. Built probably in 1980. They had serial numbers in the same format as Aria and Aria Pro II guitars.
Oakland & Co brand was made by Chushin Gakki. Some of the models were sold also on a brand El Maya (exactly same features, only logo difference). These are very good and nice instruments. Quality woods with good electronics.
See pictures above...
3rd is a "Strat" from laminated walnut and maple, beautifully made and very nice sounding guitar, something that I would never sell!
4th is a tobacco burst color, solid ash body and maple neck, brass saddles, Gotoh tuners. Also nicely built, great sound, lot of sound variations.
