Was heisst denn "tut nicht mehr so recht"? Verzerrt er bei bestimmten Tönen oder ist er durch? Falls er bei bestimmten Tönen verzerrt, könnte das Diaphragma aus der Position geraten sein - dann hilft evtl. diese Anleitung:

"Removing the driver is easy: open the back of the leslie (middle
section), open the treble driver fixing bolts (3pcs), and pull the
driver out, leaving the horn in place.
remove the spindle plate (3 long screws), and clean these parts: the rubber ring does not like oil, but you'll see it is totally soaked!
undsolder the speaker leads (and mark the solder tag where the black lead goes!). remove the 4 screws holding the upper metal part in place. remove the upper part.
CAUTION: without proper tools and skills, do not proceed from here! And do this repair in a clean, dust-free place. Do not leave the driver open for long periods.
1) If you want to replace the diaphragm, remove the 2 remaining screws, pull the diaphragm out and replace it.
As it is open, clean the air gap (sometimes there is metal dust inside the gap, causing distortion, even when the diaphragm is perfectly aligned). take a piece of masking tape and push it in the gap. Wipe around the gap, and all metal particles shoud stick to this tape. Take another piece, insert it the other way and repeat the process. Check visually, if there still are metal particles there. Compressed air can be used too.
Sometimes there might be rust in the gap, and as rust is magnetic
material, it may be difficult to remove it from the gap!
Inspect the diaphragm and voice coil:
- has the coil been overheated?
- the flat leads to the voice coil sometimes break loose, causing
distortion.
2) If you want just to realign the voice coil, loosen the 2 screws
holding the bakelite part.
Now, connect a sine wave oscillator to the voice coil terminals, adjust the frequency between 400 and 800 Hz (where the distortion is worst), level = 1 volt, then start gently pushing the diaphragm (from the sides: the cardboard surround, visible between the steel pole piece and bakelite cap, is the safe place to do this adjustment) until the voice coil is centered and the distortion disappears. Then tighten the screws a bit, check again, and repeat procedure, if necessary. Check with other frequencies too.
This might not be the original alignment procedure used by the factory, but I know it works and I have used it in many cases with good results.
reassembe and add one drop of oil to the oil hole in the horn.

Habe selber noch keine Erfahrungen mit dem Ferrofluid Hochtöner.
Kaufen kannst Du ihn wahrscheinlich bei Hammond Deutschland - evtl. ist es je auch billiger, das Teil in den USA zu bestellen, z.B. bei
http://www.tonewheelgeneral.com/ - mit Rick Prevallet habe ich bisher nur gute Erfahrungen gemacht.
