songtext zu nem eher ruhigen melancholischen rocklied, würde mal gerne eure meinungen dazu hören:

Are this times already gone?

Forgotten memories,
The best time that we've spent
The days lasted forever
And the nights did never end.

We were wild and thoughtless,
Unrestrained and free.
Living for the moment,
Easy going as can be.

We thought it would last forever
We thought times would never change
But the memories keep fading
And times aren't the same
Anymore

*Where are those days?
Only going in fast pace
Only forwards, never back
Race is over, different track.

Where are those days?
I keep shouting in my own face
Time is gone, Time has come.
Have we lost or have we won?*

It seems like ages ago
when life was just a game.
Going crazy 24/7
But these days mostly tame.

Only memories,
pictures of the past.
We didn't believe it,
but now we know they couldn't last.
Forever.

Hi Swu!

Habe beim Lesen nichts auffälliges in der Sprache gefunden.

Ich finde den Text gut, wenn auch nicht außergewöhnlich - aber nicht jeder Text muss außergewöhnlich sein.

Hat allerdings ein paar Längen, da sich die Aussagen sehr gleichen.
Da muss die Musik schon mithalten können, um die Spannung aufrecht zu erhalten.

Du könntest imho aber auch die ein oder andere Strophe weglassen, ohne dass das Verständnis und der Inhalt darunter leiden.

The best time that we've spent besser ohne "that"
The days lasted forever
And the nights did never end.

We were wild and thoughtless,
Unrestrained and free.
Living for the moment,
Easy going as can be. das "can" ist hier etwas komisch. "as it be" heisst sowas wie "wie es eben ist", aber ich denke, das kann auch eigentlich so bleiben. "as it can be2 wäre deutlicher.

We thought times would never change
But the memories keep fading
And times aren't the same hier bräuchte "times" eigentlich einen artikel, sind ja bestimmte zeiten gemeint.

Have we lost or have we won?* ich kenne "win" immer nur mit "to do". aber mir fällt kein grund ein, warum "have" nicht auch gehen sollte. das find ich mal raus...

But these days mostly tame. hier fehlt ein verb "tame" verstehe ich hier als adjektiv "zahm". meinst du eher "gezähmt", dann brauchst du trotzdem noch ein hilfsverb: "are mostly tamed"

die ersten beiden sachen stimm ich zu
das "as can be" stimmt sicher so
den artikel zu times....stimmt eigentlich, is mit artikel wohl besser
have won stimmt sicher
das "tame" gehört ja sinngemäß noch zur zeile davor, wo ja ein (ungeschriebenes) we're davor, das denk ich kann man schon lassen

ein kleines komma und ich hätte mich nicht verwirren lassen. und dann noch "those" statt "these", weil bezieht sich ja auf vergangene tage
