Hi¡¡
I was considering to buy some guitar listed at ebay. It was a custom ESP Kirk Hammet´s Ouija model. I always desired one of this but as you know are pretty hard to find and of course quite expensive.
So I was following some auction and ask the seller to ship to Spain and sent me more pics because on the add there were only 2 or 3 pics and were taken quite far and you can not see if it´s a fake made with decals or an original. Inmediatly he answer me saying that he was able to ship to Spain because he was so close at UK (UK guys be careful also). He also sent me lot of pics but in any of them I can say it was not a Ouija original because graphics matches perfectly and there were no EMG sign mark on pickups as usual on regular KH-2 models.
First of all I have my doubts truly because price was so ridiculous so I don´t bid for guitar because also seller was new register memeber and has 0% feedback.
A few days ago... I forgot completely the auction of the Ouija and I receive some message through hotmail from seller, offering me the guitar 100 pounds cheaper because the winner finally don´t pay for guitar. I stop to think for a moment but the thing that makes me quit completely was when he sent me an invoice supposily from ebay saying that I must pay for the auction through Moneygramm and seller is covered up to 2000 pounds for the transcation. All this message completely sorround with the ebay characters and all looking very professional. Then I receive a message from seller saying that he puts Paypal as payment but he was divorcing from wife and he only takes Moneygramm or Western Union payment. I can be some candid but I´m not an idiot. How is possible that any seller and more the ebay stuff sent to you any message of confirming payment through Moneygramm or WU when they have a great terms on his rules and they inform always to NOT PAY NOTHING ON EBAY THROUGH MONEYGRAMM OR WU because has no covers and safety and is diffciuklt to trace. I sent to ebay the supposed email from ebay UK and they confirm me that is completely a fake. They are at the moment investigating the address of the guy and the identity and probably they have some severals words to say him.
This is the auction:

So, please... take good care when guitars when they seem a bargain... there are a few bargains and nobody sells 100 bucks per 20. Take always some security measures as Registered date and feedback and always ask for more pictures or information, and never doubt to ask ebay, paypal or any about some strange message or movements.
Cheers:toast
Javier.
