Hey,
ich trau mich jetz doch mal einen Text meinerseits online zu stellen. Ich bin der Basser von einer rock band und das ist eigentlich nicht mein 1. Text ,aber dafür ein Text bei dem mir andere Meinungen wichtig sind. Hoffe ihr könnt etwas damit anfangen und schreibt ein bisschen kritik dazu. Mein Englisch ist sicherlich nicht das beste , da würd ich mich auch über Grammatikhinweise freuen.

Doubt devours
my peace of mind
and it´s so hard
to dispense with


cause the failurse
which we made
take revenge
with sad fate

And it´s too late
to apologize
to idiolize

seeing oder ein Hilfsverb

der erste Teil ist Vergangenheit, der zweite plötzlich Präsens (ich versuchte alles was ich kann)?
I know i tried it
with all of my heart
But when the easy things collapse
das geschah dann ja vorher, oder? Als die einfachen Dinge fallen .... ???
and every pas is a first step
path? every path starts with a step sagt man da so eigentlich
you know that the time has come
one that
our lives have overcome
are? oder themselves

das sind doch die Fehler, also Mehrzahl oder?

Ja, voller Tipp und Zeitfehler, so richtig kommt die Geschichte, die du erzählen willst, auch nicht durch. Das liegt aber bestimmt auch an den Zeitfehlern, die machen es cshwierig zu verstehen, was wann passiert.

Danke für die ausführliche Antwort. Ich hab jetzt versucht die Zeitfehler zu beseitigen . Und hab auch teilweise Textzeilen geändert, so dass sie hoffentlich leichter verständlich sind.

and every pas were a first step Pas steht auch für Schritt , also sinngemäß als jeder Schritt ein erster Schritt war

to defeat my fears ( "dispense with" war so gemeint, dass es schwer war mit den Zweifeln fertig zu werden , war mir aber auch nicht sicher ob man das so in Englisch sagt . )

doch, collapse passt schon, mir ging es um die Zeit. Jetzt hast du collapsed geschrieben und dann passts.

dann aber "was", das ist ja einzahl. "pas" kenne ich nur aus "Faux pas", so in anderem Zusammenhang nimmt man das eigentlich nicht.

achso, dann ist das ein neuer Satz? Also: ... we made. Take revenge, with sad fate. Dann stimmt das natürlich. War ohne Satzzeichen nicht (oder schlecht) zu verstehen.
