hoi leutz, ich bin ja eigentlich kein Sänger, aber der Thread hier scheint mir perfekt um meine selbst geschriebenen Texten zu posten. Ich würd gerne mal n paar meinungen von euch hören (Kritik - Lob - Tipps etc.)
Meine fragen an euch : sind n paar sachen vllt übertrieben?versteht man manche textzeilen net? gibs irgendwo keine sinnvollen gedankenverknüpfungen? oda sowas in der art...
n kleine frage am rande: findet ihr, der text passt zu ner Metal-/Emocore-Band?könnt ja eure antworten vllt begründen...

also....da ist mal ein HAMMERkontrast zwischen dem ton von der ersten strophe und dem der zweiten, ist das absicht?
der letzte vers der ersten zeile klingt so metal-metapher-mäßig...strophe 2 mehr nach beach boys oder skate punk

das ist die folge unseres lebens? die könnte man dann erst nach eurem tod spüren..

Ich persönlich finde, das der Refrain viel zu oft kommt.
Kann mir nich vorstellen, dass das klingt, wenn Du das halbe Lied nur den Refrain singst.

man würde dann boundaries sagen, aber dann bist du aus dem reim und dem rhythmus draußen...

wieso steht dann bei dem leo-übersetzer : bounds = schranken (also doch keine grenzen,aber etwas, dass dich abhält etwas zu betreten..)

Ja und übersetzt hieße das dann in etwa: Unsere Kraft schlägt gegen die Schranken.
Das vermittelt mir kein sonderlich positives Gefühl. Eher so etwas wie: Wo rohe Kräfte sinnlos walten (Goethe) oder Kampf gegen die Windmühlen (Cervantes).

Glaub ruhig mal nate: der ist native speaker.
Nicht alles, was im leo steht ist auch gebräuchliches Englisch bzw. Amerikanisch.

Kannste natürlich auch so machen wie Du willst. Ist ja eh emo [*sofort wieder zurücknehm und duck*].

@nate: wieso kann man die folgen des lebens erst nach dem tod spüren?wir (die band) leben ja schon einige Jahre und daraus könnnen ja auch schon folgen entstehen?!

unter consequences verstehe ich was, was zeitlich später kommt,,,,,,,,,,das hieße dann zeitlich später als das leben, damit nach dem leben
ich würde da eher sowas wie effects nehmen

aber effekts ist allgemeiner ^^....

das mit "outcome" passt so, nur würde ich statt "our life" lieber "our lives" nehmen.
