Der Grund, warum ich den Text hier einstelle ist folgender, nämlich dass ich so viele Meinungen wie möglich zu diesem Text brauche. Damit sind eure Eindrücke und Empfindungen gemeint und natürlich, was ihr für Verbesserungsvorschläge hättet.

Der Text gefällt mir gut, die Stimmung wird gut 'rübergebracht.
Noch ein paar Anmerkungen zur Sprache...

(who) I have ever had ​

but then we had to leave - "leave" bedeutet "abreisen/weggehen". Wenn Du das meinst, ist es OK. Wenn Du "Schluss machen" meinst, dann "break up".

and no one is to blame ​

it was a short desire - statt "short" vielleicht "transient"?
a love that must not be
an uncomparable fire
the love of you and me
