Yamaha Launches New Installation Products At ISE 2014
Yamaha Music Europe GmbH is showing several new products for the installation market at Integrated Systems Europe 2014, which takes place at the Amsterdam RAI between 4th and 6th February.
Following a US launch at NAMM in January, a new generation of MG Series mixing consoles will be making their European debut at ISE, which include a number of significant extra features and updates in response to customer requests.
Totalling ten models, the MG line-up has been completely re-designed and ranges from six to 20 input channels in size. As well as the standard version, each new MG console also has an XU variant (X variant in the case of the MG06), which features onboard SPX effect processing.
Suitable for a wide range of both portable and installed mixing applications, the new MG Series features Yamaha's studio-grade Class A D-PRE microphone preamps with an inverted Darlington circuit topography and new op amps developed especially for the consoles.
The show also sees the launch of significant additions to Yamaha's very successful Commercial Installation Solutions (CIS) series in the form of EN54-24 certified versions of the VXC and VXS loudspeaker ranges, which are specifically designed for use in PA/VA voice alarm systems.
Yamaha's full CIS series will be on show, including all VXC and VXS loudspeakers, XMV multi-channel amplifiers, MTX matrix processors and DCP controllers.
The company will also be demonstrating its Commercial Installation Solutions Speaker Calculator (CISSCA) software. Available as a free download from the Yamaha Pro Audio web site, this Windows application quickly and accurately calculates the number of speakers required for optimum performance in a room size specified by the user, as well as working out the effective sound pressure level of the system.
Yamaha's industry leading CL series digital mixing systems and optional I/O interfaces, including the DUGAN-MY16 auto mic mixing card, will also be on show, as well as the company's high quality AV receivers and amplifiers and the WORKproCA range of installation products.
