Und die Form. Sie klingt toll und interessant, ist aber finde ich sogar hässlicher als die Reverse Flying V von Gibson :(

Dawsons Music Demo der Gary Clark Blak and Blu. Würde es die Gitarrenskills mit der Gitarre dazu geben, sie wär meine. :D

Epiphone Sheraton™-II PRO
06.01.2015
Now in Wine Red! Featuring ProBucker™ pickups w/coil-tapping and new Graphtech® NuBone XL™ nut
N_060115A1.jpg

The new Epiphone Sheraton-II PRO honors Epiphone's most influential "thin-line" semi-hollowbody electric archtop now with a Wine Red finish plus critically acclaimed ProBucker™ pickups with coil-tapping and a Graphtech® NuBone XL™ nut.
N_060115A2.jpg
An Epiphone Icon: Hailed by blues legend John Lee Hooker as "an out-did 335," the Sheraton has been renown for decades for its combination of superior tone and beautiful pearloid and abalone inlay. Originally released in 1959, the inspiration for the "thin-line" or ES series has its roots in Les Paul's first solidbody guitar, "The Log," that Les built in Epiphone's factory in Manhattan in 1940.
"The Log" was made from Epiphone parts with a 4" x 4" piece of pinewood down the middle. The ES-series is also semi-hollow with a solid center, which makes it more resistant to feedback than a typical archtop guitar.
Inside the Epiphone Sheraton-II PRO: "The Outdid 335"
John Lee Hooker described the original Sheraton as an "outdid-335" for its striking fingerboard inlay, classic shape, and elegant ivory and black binding on the top, back, neck, headstock and f-holes. The new Sheraton-II PRO has the same profile and is made from Laminated Maple and topped with a bound "Tortoise" style pickguard with a signature metal "E" (for Epiphone!) and the same classic binding. The Sheraton-II PRO is available in Ebony, Natural, Vintage Sunburst, and a stunning new Wine Red finish.
N_060115A8_r2.jpg
The Sheraton-II PRO has a hand-set 5-piece laminated hard Maple/Walnut 24.75" scale neck with a beautiful Rosewood fingerboard with block and triangle pearloid and abalone inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets, and a large vintage style "tree of life" motif "Clipped Ear" headstock. The Epiphone Sheraton-II PRO also now comes with the new Graphtech® NuBone XL™ nut that is as hard as bone but will last a lifetime without chipping or cracking. Graphtech molds and engineers each NuBone XL™ nut for consistent tone and string balance as well as precise string spacing.
ProBucker Humbuckers: The Epiphone Sheraton™ II-PRO now features new critically acclaimed ProBucker™ humbuckers. The first humbuckers were made at the Epiphone/Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan in the late 50s and have acquired a mythical status among guitar players. Epiphone ProBucker pickups have that elusive tone because they are made with the same alloy as the originals--18% Nickel Silver unit bases and covers--along with Sand cast Alnico II magnets and high quality 4-conductor lead wire. Each ProBucker pickup is also vacuum wax potted to eliminate microphonics.
The Epiphone Sheraton-II PRO has a ProBucker-2™ in the neck position and a slightly hotter ProBucker-3™ in the lead position. Both pickups also have coil-tapping via their individual volume controls. Coil-tapping allows a player to turn a humbucker pickup into a single coil pickup for endless tone combinations.
Each ProBucker pickup's volume and tone control use 1" 500K Ohm potentiometers along with a 3-way pickup selector with an ivory-colored toggle cap.
Epiphone Gold Hardware: The Epiphone Sheraton™ II-PRO has rock solid nickel hardware in elegant gold with an unbeatable LockTone™ Tune-o-matic bridge and StopBar tailpiece combo. Tuning is easy and reliable with gold Grover® Rotomatic machine heads with a pro-level 18:1 tuning ratio. The Sheraton-II PRO is strung at the factory with D’Addario® 10-46 gauge strings.

Joe Pass Emperor-II PRO™
06.01.2015
Featuring ProBucker™ pickups w/coil-tapping and hand-scalloped bracing
N_060115B1.jpg

The new Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor-II PRO honors the "President of Bebop Guitar" and one of the most prolific and groundbreaking electric guitarists in the history of jazz. The Joe Pass Emperor II PRO is a true archtop guitar with hand-scalloped bracing and sound post and features Epiphone's critically acclaimed new ProBucker™ pickups with coil-tapping plus the new Graphtech® NuBone XL™ nut.
During his long career, Joe Pass's advanced harmonic knowledge and seemingly endless well of melodic ideas made him the premier accompanist for the top singers and soloists in the world of jazz including Les McCaan, Ella Fitzgerald, Chet Baker, Oscar Peterson, Herb Ellis, Ray Brown, and Milt Jackson. The new Joe Pass Emperor II PRO is a fitting tribute to Joe, who was a great inspiration and friend to Epiphone and guitarists throughout the world.
A True Archtop
The Joe Pass Emperor-II PRO is a true archtop with a Select Spruce top and classic "arch" that's supported by hand-scalloped bracing and a carefully positioned sound post for optimum tone. The back and sides of the Emperor II are made from Laminated Flame Maple and the Emperor-II PRO is available in three beautiful finishes--Natural, Wine Red, and Joe's favorite, Vintage Sunburst. The top also has a bound "tortoise" style pickguard shaped to House of Stathopoulo's unique profile along with our signature metal "E".
N_060115B2.jpg
The Emperor-II PRO has a hand-set 3-piece laminated hard Maple neck with a Rosewood fingerboard that has beautiful pearloid block inlays, 20 medium jumbo frets, and is topped off with the Epiphone-vintage style "tree of life" design seen on the best Epi archtops since the late 1930s. The Emperor-II PRO features the new Graphtech® NuBone XL™ nut that is as hard as bone but will last a lifetime. Graphtech molds and engineers each NuBone XL™ nut for consistent tone and string balance as well as precise string spacing.
The Emperor-II PRO has Grover™ Rotomatic™ 18:1 ratio machine heads for fast, intuitive, and worry-free tuning. The black and white truss rod cover has an elegantly lettered "Joe Pass Emperor-II PRO" in white.
ProBucker Humbuckers
The Joe Pass Emperor-II PRO gets its name from the new critically acclaimed ProBucker™ humbuckers.
The first generation of humbuckers were made at the Epiphone/Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan in the late 50s and have acquired a mythical status among guitar players.
The Emperor-II PRO has a ProBucker-2™ in the neck position and a slightly hotter ProBucker-3™ in the lead position. Both pickups also have coil-tapping via their individual volume controls. Coil-tapping allows a player to turn a humbucker pickup into a single coil pickup for endless tone combinations. The Joe Pass Emperor-II PRO also sounds great unplugged and at low volume for players who strive for those classic horn-like tones like Joe Pass played.
Each ProBucker pickup's volume and tone are attenuated by Top Hat control knobs with metal inserts that are spaced slightly farther apart than a typical archtop along with a 3-way pickup selector with an ivory-colored toggle cap.
Epiphone-tough Hardware
The Emperor-II PRO has rock solid nickel hardware in elegant gold and a vintage style gold scroll tailpiece, a design inspired by vintage Kalamazoo-made archtops. The Emperor-II PRO is strung at the factory with Joe Pass-approved D'Addario® 10-46 gauge strings. And setting the intonation for the Emperor-II PRO is easy with a floating Rosewood bridge with thumbwheels for quick height adjustment.

Epiphone Ltd. Ed. "2015" Joe Bonamassa Les Paul Standard w/ Bigsby® Outfit
09.01.2015

With Bigsby® B70, Gibson® Burstbuckers™, and custom Inverness Green finish!

N_090115A1.jpg
Modern blues legend and GRAMMY™ nominee Joe Bonamassa returns with his third Epiphone Signature Model, the new Epiphone Ltd. Ed. "2015" Joe Bonamassa Les Paul Standard w/Bigsby® Outfit. Featuring a one-of-a-kind Inverness Green color finish, Gibson® Burstbucker™ humbucker pickups, and a classic Bigsby® B70 vibrato along with a Les Paul-classic "Lifton" style hard case. Joe Bonamassa has been part of the "House of Stathopoulo" family since 2011 and worked closely with Epiphone's luthiers at the Epi headquarters in Nashville to create a new Les Paul Standard that incorporated his favorite features from his collection of priceless vintage Les Pauls from the late 50s, this time with a Bigsby® B70 vibrato! Over the last decade, Joe Bonamassa's original fusion of electric blues and rock has inspired a new generation of fans and musicians. Bonamassa is not only a superb and prolific artist but also a genuine music fan--deeply committed to the story and heritage of the many players who have inspired his sound, from Rolling Fork, Mississippi to London. Bonamassa's extraordinary technique and passionate performances have already inspired two signature Limited Edition Epiphone Les Paul Standards, the "Goldtop" and the Les Paul Standard in Pelham Blue. Now, Bonamassa adds a new twist with the Epiphone Ltd. Ed. "2015" Joe Bonamassa Les Paul Standard w/Bigsby® Outfit, the first Epiphone Les Paul signature model with the classic Bigsby® B70 vibrato, especially chosen by Joe to match his own prized vintage Les Paul!

"Sustain for Days:" The new "2015" Joe Bonamassa Les Paul Standard w/Bigsby® Outfit was designed in close cooperation with Joe and includes many of his favorite design details drawn from his collection of vintage Les Paul Standards--designed by Mr. Les Paul himself to "sustain for days." The "2015" has a Mahogany body with the same classic "Les Paul" profile used on all Les Pauls since they were first produced at the Gibson/Epiphone factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The top has a Carved Maple Cap and is finished in Inverness Green at Joe's request. The traditional Mahogany neck has a rounded D-profile with a "1959" shape modeled after Joe's favorite '59 Les Paul Standard and is deep-set into the body and hand-glued. The neck has a 12" radius with a Rosewood fingerboard with "Trapezoid" inlays, a standard 24.75" scale length, 22 medium jumbo frets, and a standard 1 11/16 nut. The truss rod cover has the now familiar Les Paul "bell-shape" with "Bonamassa" engraved in capitol letters and the trademark "Les Paul" signature in gold on the headstock.

N_090115A2.jpg
Gibson USA Burstbucker™ Pickups: Joe Bonamassa has counted on Gibson Burstbucker humbuckers for all of his Epiphone signature models as well as his rare custom models. Nothing else comes closer to the sound of late 50s hand-wound "PAF"-style humbuckers than Gibson USA Burstbuckers. Joe's new "2015" Epiphone Les Paul features a Burstbucker-2™ in the neck position a slighter hotter-wound Burstbucker-3™ in the bridge position. There's no better match-up than a Les Paul with humbuckers and just like the originals, each Gibson USA Burstbucker humbucker has its own individual "voice" enabling players to develop their own personal tone and style. The original humbucker was first invented and perfected at the Gibson/Epiphone factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Burstbuckers feature unpolished magnets and non-potted coils like the first generation of humbuckers. The myriad of variations in the output and tone of original "Patent Applied For" pickups came from inconsistencies in winding the bobbins, a result of the lack of automatic shutoffs on Gibson's winding machines in the late 1950s. Seth Lover, who invented the humbucker, recalled that original "Patent Applied For" pickups were wound "until they were full." When two coils in a pickup have a different number of turns, that variation puts a little "edge" or "bite" on the classic humbucker sound.

Controls for the new Ltd. Ed. Epiphone "2015" Joe Bonamassa Les Paul Standard w/Bigsby® Outfit feature the now-classic set of mismatched Gold "Top Hat" knobs for the bridge and neck pickup controls, just like Joe's favorite '59 Les Paul Standard. Epiphone's patent-applied-for LockTone™ Tune-o-matic bridge and the rock standard Bigsby® vibrato along with premium Grover™ machine heads with a 18:1 tuning ratio, make set-up and intonation easy and rock solid. And of course, the Joe Bonamassa "2015" Les Paul comes with Epiphone standard solid Nickel hardware, an Epiphone non-rotating ¼" output jack, and Epiphone StrapLocks. And to complete the look of Joe's priceless vintage Les Pauls,

Joe's new "2015" Epiphone Les Paul comes with a classic "Lifton Styled" Hard Shell Case along with a Certificate of Authenticity hand-signed by Joe Bonamassa. Like all Epiphones, the Ltd. Ed. "2015" Joe Bonamassa Les Paul Standard w/Bigsby® Outfit comes with Epiphone's Limited Lifetime Warranty and world famous 365/24/7 Gibson Customer Service. You don't have to have a vintage Les Paul to sound like Joe. Play a Ltd Ed "2015" Joe Bonamassa Les Paul Standard w/Bigsby® Outfit today at your Authorized Epiphone Dealer.

The Epiphone Interview: Monster
09.01.2015

The leader of Mayday steps out with a new Epiphone Les Paul

N_090115E1.jpg

Epiphone welcomes "Monster," --Wen Shang Yi-- to the House of Stathopoulo's elite group of signature artists. Monster formed Mayday in Taiwan in 1997 and has led the band to four Golden Melody Awards for Best Band thanks to his exciting blues-based solos. Mayday is known throughout Greater China as the King of Concert and the incredible lead guitar playing of Monster has led the band all the way. To celebrate Monster's new Signature Ltd. Ed. Mayday Monster Les Paul available exclusively in China and SEA, Epiphone.com spoke to Monster about his new Les Paul and his influences.

-----------------------

Tell us about designing the Epiphone Ltd. Ed. Mayday Monster Les Paul.

I previously collaborated with the Gibson Custom Shop to release the Gibson Limited Run Mayday Monster Les Paul and it was really well received. I'd like to let more fans have a chance to enjoy playing my signature guitar and when Epiphone reached out to me about creating a limited edition signature guitar for them, I gladly agreed to it.

Why is the Les Paul your favorite guitar model?

When I first started to play rock, it seems that every guitar virtuoso would own a Les Paul and that's how I came to desire owning one myself. In my high school guitar club, one day a senior brought a Les Paul for everyone to try, and that's when I found out how I loved the way a Les Paul sounds--the thickness of the sound, the warmth, as well as the expressiveness for playing rock music.

N_090115E2.jpg

When did you start to play guitar and what inspired you to play?

My first time to start playing guitar was at age 15 or 16 when I began 9th grade. I saw seniors formed their own bands and that's when I realized that playing your own music could make you feel happy and free, and that's something I certainly enjoy all the time.

How was Mayday formed?

Shin (lead singer), Masa (bass) and Stone (guitar) and I met at the same guitar club in school. We later added Ming (drummer) to complete the band. After that, we wrote some songs, recorded a demo and we pretty much sent a copy to every record label. We were really lucky that famous producer Jonathan Lee from Rock Records contacted us and helped us to release our first album, and we have been playing together ever since.

Who inspired your sound? I believe you are a huge fan of the Beatles.

The Beatles are the band we have always looked up to. What they have done with their music is beyond simply expressing a feeling; their music is full of life inspirations, and their philosophical thoughts of life are still influencing people every day. The way they created and experienced their music were also inspiring to us.

Throughout your music journey as a Mayday member, how hard was it to find your inspiration and to create your music?

These days there are many unique types of music out there. There are avant-garde, fresh sounds you've probably never heard of before. We have always been pushing ourselves hard to try to create new sparkles via our works. However, during that journey, we have come to realize that there are certain core values in music that we always need to keep and to protect: the human touch and the emotions in our songs are what we can't afford to lose during the creation.

The Mayday Nowhere Tour played more than 200 concerts around the world last year. How do you keep your concerts fresh and exciting?

The Mayday Nowhere World Tour did lead us to many cities and countries around the world. For us, every concert is like the first time. We know that many fans are there for the first time to join our live concert. Therefore, we have to do our best to meet their expectations, to inspire them, and to touch them with our music. If we are able to do that, we will also be inspired in return. That's why I'm always excited for every concert and am able to keep myself fresh every time.

You also have plenty of followers in the United States. How did you achieve that?

We just hope that more people around the world could hear Mayday's music and anyone from everywhere could follow us through social media such as Facebook, YouTube or Weibo for our latest updates and music. If we are performing in the USA, we'd certainly hope you would come see our gigs.

We heard that you are currently working on a new album, anything you'd like to share with us on that?

Yes, we are currently writing songs for our ninth album. I'm looking forward to share our works with everyone soon.

Which musicians do you listen to and what kind of music would inspire you to create?

The Beatles are the band that all of us love listening to and have found inspiration from since we were young. All those messages in their songs have always been able to carry us through all the ups and downs in our lives. Every time I watch the Beatles' performances on video, I would pay particular attention to John Lennon's Epiphone Casino as it sounds sweet, that sound is inspiring to me.

Which other guitarists do you admire?

I have many guitar icons: Tak Matsumoto from B'z, Slash, Jimmy Page, Joe Perry... just to name a few. All of them have now entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Besides that, we also realize that there are many great guitarists in this world, no matter if he or she is just a regular musician or someone that simply works behind the scenes. What's great about music is that there are really no limits to where you can enjoy it as long as you share that love and understanding with the others.

Are there any other Epiphone guitar models you are interested in trying out?

I own a large number of Epiphone guitars, including the Casino and the Oasis Supernova models. I really like the quality of Epiphone and I think it provides unique sounds in performance. I am happy that now I also have my signature model for Epiphone, and I believe it will help me to create a lot great music to share with everybody.

Featuring Gibson USA pickups.

N_090115B2.jpg

Epiphone welcomes Japan's premier guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer Tamio Okuda to the House of Stathopoulo with the new Ltd. Ed. Tamio Okuda Elitist Coronet™ Custom Outfit, available exclusively in Japan. Featuring two Gibson USA P-90 pickups and the historic Epiphone Coronet™ profile with a beautiful vintage style Silver Fox™ Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish. Tamio Okuda is ranked among the top artists in Japan and fittingly, Tamio chose the classic Epiphone Elitist Coronet as his debut signature model and customized it with two Gibson USA P-90 pickups to be the first Epiphone Coronet with two pickups in a stunning Silver Fox™ finish! "This guitar is incredibly lightweight and easy to play with high quality and solid body tone," says Okuda.

The original Epiphone Coronet was one of the first solidbody guitars made at Epiphone in the late 50s after merging with Gibson and moving to the legendary factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The vintage Epiphone Coronet was made at the same time as the ES-335 and the Les Paul Standard, and has since become a Rock & Roll classic all its own. Epiphone Elitist instruments have a worldwide reputation as some of the finest vintage reproduction guitars ever made with exacting standards to finish, electronics, neck profile, and most of all, sound. Working with Epiphone's famed luthiers in Nashville, Tamio Okuda customized his debut signature Coronet to fit his incredible style. Now, the new Ltd. Ed. Tamio Okuda Elitist Coronet Custom Outfit features a rare Silver Fox™ Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish and not one but two classic Gibson P-90 pickups--one "Dogear" P-90 single coil pickup like the traditional Coronet plus a "Soapbar" P-90 for a truly signature instrument that ranks with the most beautiful Epiphones ever made from any era!

N_090115B3.jpg

Classic Coronet, Modern Sound: The Epiphone Ltd. Ed. Tamio Okuda Elitist Coronet™ Custom Outfit was designed at Epiphone's headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee and is made at the world renown Epiphone Elitist factory in Japan and features a classic Coronet body made from 1-piece African Mahogany with a vintage style white pickguard with a stunning vintage-perfect Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish in Silver Fox™ upon request by Tamio Okuda. The Tamio Okuda Elitist Coronet Custom neck is also made from 1-piece African Mahogany and is shaped with a 1960's SlimTaper™ D profile. The 12" radius fingerboard is made from Indian Rosewood and has a 24.75" scale length, 22 medium jumbo frets, and an Epiphone 1.62" oiled bone nut.

Gibson USA Pickups: Tamio Okuda chose world famous Gibson USA pickups for his signature Elitist Coronet Custom adding the unique combination of a 50s style "Soapbar" P-90 single coil pickup in the neck position plus a "Dogear" P-90 in the bridge position. Gibson USA P-90 pickups are a true recreation of the first generation of P-90 pickups found in the earliest Les Pauls and classic archtops. Gibson USA P-90 single coil pickups are individually voiced for rhythm and lead and provide a huge variety of sound choices for the modern guitarist. The new Ltd. Ed. Tamio Okuda Elitist Coronet™ Custom Outfit may be all you'll ever need to take to a gig from now on!

The Ltd. Ed. Tamio Okuda Elitist Coronet™ Custom Outfit also features premium electronics including a Switchcraft™ 3-Way Pickup Selector plus world class CTS™ 250K Audio potentiometers with Orange Drop 473 capacitors. Controls for each pickup's volume and tone feature a recreation of the original Epiphone Vintage "Barrel" knobs.

Solid Epiphone Hardware: The Epiphone Ltd. Ed. Epiphone Ltd Ed Les Paul Custom 100th Anniversary Outfit Celebrating the 100th birthday of Les Paul
11.01.2015
With 24K Gold Plated Hardware, ProBucker pickups with Coil Splitting, and more!
N_110115B0.jpg

Epiphone, the House of Stathopoulo, celebrates Les Paul's 100th birthday with the Ltd. Ed. Les Paul Custom 100th Anniversary Outfit, a stunning one-of-a-kind Les Paul that combines Les' favorite Les Paul features with dazzling 24K Gold Plated hardware, Abalone and Pearloid inlay, a vintage Epiphone logo with a Zirconium Gemstone, plus acclaimed ProBucker™ pickups with coil-splitting, a 100th Anniversary hardshell case, vintage-style strap, Commemorative Picks and more!
The Roots of the Les Paul begin at Epiphone
Les Paul in the House of Stathopoulo
Throughout 2015, Epiphone proudly celebrates the 100th birthday of Les Paul, the Wizard of Waukesha, the Thomas Edison of rock n' roll, and a life long fan and friend of the Epiphone and Gibson families. Les was a regular visitor to Epi Stathopoulo's factory in Manhattan where Les made the first prototypes of the Les Paul guitar, The Log.
N_110115B1.jpg
"I knew Epi Stathopoulo and the Epiphone people very well and loved their instruments," Les recalled in Les Paul, In His Own Words, "Working on Sundays, I took a length of 4x4 Pine, put an Epiphone neck on it, wound a couple of homemade pickups, and mounted them on the wood. Then I added a bridge and Vibrola tailpiece, strung it up, and I had The Log. I was looking for volume, tone, and sustain that could be controlled, still chasing the idea that started with stretching a guitar string over a section of railroad rail."
Les continued to be an Epiphone fan for the rest of his life and the beautiful new Ltd. Ed. Les Paul Custom 100th Anniversary Outfit is a suitable and dazzling tribute to the most popular rock & roll guitar in the world and its equally revered inventor.
Ltd. Ed. Les Paul Custom 100th Anniversary Outfit
A Les Paul Custom Fit for a Wizard
The new Epiphone Ltd. Ed. Les Paul Custom 100th Anniversary Outfit features a classic Mahogany body with the time-honored Les Paul profile in both a Cherry finish with a Mahogany veneer and a Natural finish with a AAA Flame Maple Veneer. Both finish options have 5-layer Cream and Black binding on the top and back. The Mahogany neck has a 1960s SlimTaperTM D-profile and is glued to the body with a Mortise and Tenon neck joint. The smooth Rosewood fingerboard is bound and has a 12" radius with 22 medium jumbo frets, a 24.75" scale, and a 1-11/16 nut. The Mahogany neck features traditional Epiphone Block & Triangle inlays in Abalone and Pearloid.
The Les Paul Custom 100th Anniversary Outfit has many other beautiful features that set it apart from any other Les Paul ever made including a 24K Gold plated metal truss rod cover engraved with "Les Paul 100th Anniversary." Plus, the traditional "Sloped Dovewing" headstock has 5 layer Cream and Black binding and features the original Epiphone "vine" inlay in Pearloid, a classic 40s era Epiphone logo with a Zirconium Gemstone dotting the "I", and on the back of the headstock a "The Legacy of Les Paul: 1915 - 2015" commemorative decal.

Epiphone ProBucker™ Humbucker Power
The Epiphone Ltd. Ed. Les Paul Custom 100th Anniversary features Epiphone's critically acclaimed ProBucker™ pickups, a 4-wire design with coil-splitting inspired by Gibson's legendary BurstBuckers™. Since their introduction, Epiphone ProBucker™ pickups have beguiled pros, luthiers, collectors, and guitar magazine editors and their consensus is ProBuckers aren't "like" the real thing--they are the real thing!
ProBucker™ pickups recreate the sound of the original hand-wound "PAF" humbuckers designed by Seth Lover at the Kalamazoo factory in the late '50s by featuring all the same ingredients as the originals including Alnico II magnets, Elektrisola magnet wire, 18% nickel silver unit bases and covers, and pole screws, slugs and bobbins manufactured to Gibson's original specifications. The result is a phenomenal pickup that, over time, will develop the subtle, one-of-a-kind characteristics that previously you could only get from vintage humbuckers. And best of all, those unique pickup characteristics will give your guitar a unique "voice." No two vintage Les Pauls sound alike and ProBuckers™ will give your Epiphone Les Paul Custom 100th Anniversary a one-of-a-kind sound that will only get better the more you play. So plan on playing this Les Paul Custom a lot!
The Ltd. Ed. Les Paul Custom 100th Anniversary Outfit comes with a ProBucker™-2 humbucker in the neck position that is slightly overwound for greater definition at higher volumes. The bridge pickup is a ProBucker™-3 humbucker, which is also slightly overwound to give your solos a wide tonal range. Each pickup features coil-splitting via a push/pull control at each pickup's volume knob.

The Cherry finished Les Paul Custom features Amber "Top Hat" controls with metal pointers while the Natural finish features Black Speed Knobs with metal pointers. All volume and tone controls have full-size 500K potentiometers matched with Epiphone's rugged, all-metal, 3-way toggle pickup selector switch for long-lasting performance.
There is no other Les Paul on Earth like the Ltd. Ed. 100th Anniversary Custom which features 24 Karat Gold Plated hardware including a gold plated truss rod cover engraved with "Les Paul 100th Anniversary," a gold LockTone™ Tune-o-matic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece, a gold Epiphone heavy-duty non-rotating output jack, and gold Grover™ 18:1 machine heads with stepped "Imperial" buttons.

Every Epiphone Ltd. Ed. Les Paul Custom 100th Anniversary Outfit also comes with a Hardshell Case with a 100th Anniversary Commemorative Logo, a vintage-style strap, 3 Commemorative Picks, and a Certificate of Authenticity in a presentation binder.
For over 50 years, Les Paul encouraged and cheered on Epiphone to keep Les Pauls on the cutting edge of electric guitars. "I tell you they are damn fine instruments!" Les said of Epiphone Les Pauls. "A kid can get an Epiphone and have something worth something, not a hunk-of-junk like the other brands. He can learn well on one and have it and play it the rest of his life. Just that they need a good guitar like an Epiphone so they won't get discouraged... so they will practice and work hard and enjoy their music."

Joah, sehr elegant.
