Soo, hier ist noch ein Text, den ich mal vor über einem Jahr für einen melodischen Metalsong geschrieben hab. Die Band hat sich jedoch getrennt und somit ist der Text wieder für alle Zwecke verwendbar. Ich wüsste gern, wie ihr ihn findet und ob ihr ihn euch auch in andern Genres vorstellen könntet. Das wurde alles von einer Frau gesungen, bis auf die Bridge und das Outro, die waren geshoutet (was mir nicht so gefiel).

Naja, bin für Verbesserungsvorschläge offen

aus dem Bauch raus: Why don´t you listen? Normalerweise werden ja eher zu wenig Gerund-Formen verwendet, aber irgend ... kann´s jetzt aber nicht begründen ... native speaker?

Diese how far leuchtet mir nicht ein ... weil: wie weit es kam ist ja klar: er steht auf dem Dach, bereit zum Sprung und sie weiß nicht, ob es ihr wert ist, zuzuhören ... für mich wäre eher so eine Frage wie: how could this happen oder so einleuchtend (muss man natürlich reimtechnisch hinbekommen)

da ist mir nicht klar als was das lyrische Ich bleiben will: als nervenzerreibende Erinnerung, als Bild, als Geist, Alptraum etc. ... und dann: torturing you ...

understand oder sowas wäre für mich einleuchtender als to see ...

Berührender, eindringlicher Text mit einer guten Steigerung und einem Sog, der konsequent durchgezogen wird ... An einigen Stellen ist mir allerdings nicht klar geworden, wie die Situation nun genau ist: bekommt sie tatsächlich mit, wie er springen will und dann springt und spricht er mit ihr? Oder findet der ganze Dialog nur in seinem Kopf statt? Beispielsweise ist mir nicht klar, wie sie - wenn sie am Ort des Geschehens ist - ihm nicht zuhören, ihn nicht sehen können will ...

Davon abgesehen wirkt es sehr glaubhaft auf mich - wie die nicht seltenen textlichen Wiederholungen wirken, kann sich erst bei der Umsetzung zeigen - insofern vom reinen Text aus sehr viel grünes Licht ...
