Die logische Verknüpfung passt imho nicht: Wenn die Nächte wahr werden oder ist es einfach zu grau für Dich? Das einfachste wäre, das oder zu streichen, aber sag erst mal, was Du damit sagen wolltest.

Gleich mehrere Bedeckungen? Warum nicht einfach: you cover your head?

Die logische Verknüpfung passt imho nicht: Wenn die Nächte wahr werden oder ist es einfach zu grau für Dich? Das einfachste wäre, das oder zu streichen, aber sag erst mal, was Du damit sagen wolltest. Ich meinte Nächte wahr werden im Bezug auf Angst von Kindern, während sie einschlafen, oder Albträume. Und mit dem too grey, dass die person sich auch schon bei kleineren "übeln" die decke über den kopfzieht... hat gerade noch den einfall: "When the nights become true or you just think they do," Gefällt mir besser und denk ich ist auch schlüssiger...

Gleich mehrere Bedeckungen? Warum nicht einfach: you cover your head? Laut einem meiner Wörterbücher heißt "to pull covers up over your head" sich die decke über den Kopf ziehen. Der Plural hat mich auch verwirrt. Wie würden denn das die natives hier ausdrücken?

Ist flüssiger zu singen ohne... obwohl, wahrscheinlich ist es nur in meinem deutschen englisch flüssiger und im richtigen sehr holprig...? Nobody knows. Was meinst Du denn mit fallings? und dann eher sowas wie way back in the past oder so - oder meinst Du last als dauernd? Kann mir irgendjemand sagen, warum ich die ganze Zeit dachte, dass falling auch frühling heißt :screwy: Springs muss dahin.

so sehr schöner text, allerdings verstehe ich die beziehung von der beschriebenen frau zu der als ich beschriebenen person noch nicht verstanden. du behandelst zuerst ihre probleme und kommst dann darauf, dass "ich" bestimmte dinge an ihr mag, aber irgendwie hängen die dinge auch nicht mit den problemen zusammen.

vielleicht würde die überschrift etwas klarer, wenn man "maybe there's all you need" schreibt.
dann ist mir da noch ein tippfehler aufgefallen:

ich glaube das soll depending on heißen, aber is halt nix großartiges.

tippfehler: richtig, direkt von x falsch übernommen...

Ich meinte den ganzen text so.
Am anfang beschreibt das LI einfach nur die frau, die oft in eine traumwelt flieht, wenn sie will.
In der zweiten strophe kommt dann dazu, dass das LI manchmal von diesem entfliehen "angesteckt" wird, auch ein wenig entflieht, sozusagen "inspirert" von der frau. Hoffe man versteht, wie ich das meine.

In der dritten strophe kommt dann der einwand, dass es nichts bringt sich immer nur dort zu verstecken. Und am ende eben noch die andere möglichkeit, dass es der frau dort eigentlich selber nicht gefällt und sie gerne wieder "aktiver leben" würde.
Hoffe, das war verständlich.

Schön, dass er euch gefällt.

noch zwei paar dinge, die mir beim lesen aufgefallen; kleinigkeiten:

It doesn't matter what is the dream. vielleicht besser it doesn't matter what the dream is, das andere klingt recht deutsch

Sometimes I love it when you lift me high. lift me up?? klingt irgendwie besser

ich finde dann klingt es irgendwie runder.

tut mit leid, das es so farblos ist, aber andem computer, an dem ich grad sitze funktionieren die steuerleisten für die farbe nicht.

Also lift you high sagen sie im Englischen. Zumindest die Ba-ko Babys oder wie die heißen.

"es ist egal, was der Traum ist". So würde ich dass im Deutschen sagen, was ja dein Vorschlag übersetzt wäre.
Mal auf n Native warten, was der zu den sachen sagt. Sind ja jetzt schon n paar.

Irgendwie sowas
wieso completely? im Sinne von vollkommen, ganz genau. Mir ist nichts besseres eingefallen. Ich meinte das eher darauf bezogen, dass ja schon klar ist, dass keiner dem anderen gleicht - wieso sollte dann erstaunlich sein, dass der eine dem anderen nicht "completely" gleicht?

Vielleicht noch mal ne Version erstellen und dann sind die natives gefragt.

Ach übrigens, ich hab das completely stehen lassen, weil das lyrische ich der frau ja schon ähnlich ist (sich zumindest so sieht), auch ab und zu in die traumwelt abtaucht und so.
Aber der unterschied ist, dass das LI erkannt hat, dass das keine Lösung ist.

Hab ich wahrscheinlich einfach zu deutsch gemacht... ich mach mal, wie ich es im deutschen sagen würde...
Vielleicht gibt es dort fotos von Frühlingen, vergangen in der Vergangenheit.
