life happens
she wanted to be a violinist
but then she met that boy
he wanted to enter politics
and she helped him to reach his aim
now she sits here in her real estate
the boy she once married is a great man
they have two beautiful kids and a dog
but still she feels that something went wrong
it is not what she dreamt of back then
she wanted to be a violinist
giving concerts all over the world
life is no plan, it just happens to you
you never know how things turn out
childhood dreams are covered with dust
and sleep in our minds tallest tower
it takes lots of courage to wake them up
because chances are high that we fail
he wanted to be an agronomist
but his family wouldn't agree
they said he should study economy
to enter dad's business soon
he didn't oppose and did what they said
studied hard and worked even harder
now he is forty, divorced and burnt-out
and feels that something went wrong in his life
where money can't make up for
he wanted to be an agronomist
having his sheep farm in down under
life is no plan, it just happens to you
you never know how things turn out
childhood dreams are covered with dust
and sleep in our minds tallest tower
it takes courage to wake them up
because chances are high that we fail
but if we don't try we'll never know
and our dreams won't become true
