USA, alder body, maple with rosewood neck, 25.5" scale, dice inlays at 12th fret, metalic Silver, Duncan Jazz neck, Jeff Beck Bridge, locking tuners and wilkinson trem. Nut 1 11/16"
The JJ1 is now discontinued making them pretty hard to come buy and Jackson informed me that the JJ1w (wilkinson) was a special order.

I own and have owned many guitars, I currently use custome made guitars from
www.aprguitars.com in the UK because they kill the PRS guitars I use to own!
This guitar sounds awesome. I play STP, Fuel as well as funk and after coil tapping the pickups I can get either a massive OD sound or a tele sound that is a little hotter and warmer than my USA series Tele.
I use Groove Tube Trio and D75 as well as Rocktron Chameleon original and 2000 through velocity 120 and marshall cabs and this guitar sound awesome through both rigs.
The apr guitars I favor have a thru neck and are just a bit fatter then my Les Paul Standard (though way better quality) the Jackson sits in between the 2. I like it way better than the PRS guitars I've owned (and since sold) and it sounds a little fuller than my Les Paul. Hard to believe but I'm sure the Seymour duncan pickups make the difference
Action, Fit, & Finish: 9
This is a USA guitar and you can tell, finish, setup, materials are top quality though it doesn't feature a figured top or anything flash it really plays well. I have owned and own fender USA products and this is way better, the frets are perfect the neck joint without the slightest gap and the finish flaw less. though it wont beat my APR guitars (can you tell I like them!) i found faults with a number of PRS guitars that i wasn't happy with (fret inlay work was untidy and finish flaws as well as average wood selection) though the JJ1w has non of these
Reliability/Durability: 10
come on!!! Scott Ian's signiture guitar from Anthrax!!!! This thing will outlast me!!!
I would never gig without a backup guitar but have never snapped a string (and I hit them hard) on the JJ.

I've been playing for 20 years and have probably tried everything, I earn a good salary and as such can also buy anything (well maybe not eric Claptons or a Hendrix guitar)
I got this guitar from my Bro as he really is a single coil man and loves guitars with hardtails ie Teles and strats. He would have ordinarily have just sold it but as they are no longer made I thought I'd have it as i've sold many collectible guitars is the past and regretted it. i use all my guitars and this has proved lots of fun, It gives you that powerfull thrash feeling when you pick it up as if encouraging you to rock out and i love the sound, look and feel.
My main guitars are now 2 APR prototype guitars (check out the web site) with a single cut awy. third is the JJ1w and then my les paul standard. i own a number of other guitars ie Kramer, Fender etc
mehr weiß ich auch net....
