Changes/Fixes:
… The driver now supports 64-bit XP and Vista. The installer detects your OS
version and installs the correct driver automatically.
… The driver no longer hangs if a device's firmware provides an invalid sample
rate / clock source.
… The driver's maximum buffer size is now limited to 8192 samples.
… The driver's WDM audio interface has been changed significantly:
o WDM is now always enabled, so the ability to enable/disable has been
removed from the Control Panel.
o The speaker configuration (stereo, 5.1, 7.1, etc…) has been removed
from the Control Panel. You should manage this in the Windows
Sounds and Audio Devices control panel. This results in more stable
performance since this configuration is done at the OS level rather
than the driver level.
… The minimum buffer size currently allowed by the driver is now updated
correctly. Previously there were several options to which the driver would not
respond. The minimum buffer size depends on the selected "Safe Mode"; level.
… "Latency Compensation"; is now called "Safe Mode Level";, which more
accurately represents the feature. Note that selecting a Safe Mode other than
Normal will result in a higher minimum buffer size but may give you more
stable, glitch-free audio playback.
