Hi,
ich frage mich was bei 2. mit “George Shearing comp--four-way” in folgender Übung gemeint ist:
1. Play each voicing in the circle of fifths and chromatically, as indicated.
2. Harmonize the scale using the George Shearing comp--four-way close with doubled lead voice an octave below. Use the voicings with the “X” marked over them, although you may experiment with all of them. George Shearing popularized this technique, commonly referred to as blocked chords. With much practice, one can become proficient at soloing in this manner. Check out Oscar Peterson’s blocked chord solo on “Girl Talk” (found on the album Exclusively For My Friends).”
Es geht dabei um die Noten im Anhang.
