Faithless - Don't leave (Anspielung in den Lyrics)

Hi


Ich hab mir grad mal wieder das Lied "Don't Leave" angehört und mal die Lyrics dazu durchgelesen.

Da viel mir folgende passage auf:

There's a record you used to play
There's Joni singing
"The bed's to big without you"

Auf welches Lied bezieht sich das?
Mir kommt das verdammt bekannt vor... glaube irgendwas aus der 60ern ....

Gegoogelt habbich schon. Da findet man nur Police, und das isses nich ..

Es könnte von Joni Mitchell "My old man" gemeint sein, da heisst es: "The bed's too big
The frying pan's too wide". Beim Song bin ich mir nicht sicher, bei Joni Mitchell schon. Sehr gute Folksängerin übrigens.

Ich habe einfach mal aus dem Bauch raus vermutet, dass es sich auf Joni Mitchel beziehen könnte und daraufhin gegoogelt (Joni Mitchel "This beds too big without you").
