Evil old man



On a dark rainy day
I woke up
In my head I felt pain
‘cause I drunk to much
I wanted to go out
But first
I had to
Get up

So I walked around
Around and round
Don’t know where to go
Then I heard this sound
It came from a pub
I went in
There I saw this old man
With a big fat grin

I tried to resist
I looked away
Something in my head told me:
“Go away!”
I stood up
Looked straight in his eyes
I walked thorugh the door
And forgot his lies!

Hi,

der Text ist recht witzig. Wenn der Teufel echt ein kaputter, alter Säufer ist, dann werd ich mich in Zukunft vor den "Kneipen-Stammgästen" in acht nehmen.

In der ersten Strophe stimmt zeitlich etwas nicht, es müsste "'cause I drank too much" und "Didn't know where to go" heißen.

In der zweiten Strophe hast du "away" auf "away" gereimt, das ist zwar nicht falsch, aber auch nicht unbedingt schön. Auf dieses Wort gibt es eh total viele Reimwörter, da findest du sicher was anderes.

In der dritten Strophe würde ich vielleicht "the reflection in my head turned into steam" schreiben...
