Laut damaligem Support:
" The other pickups do not have the same performance as any of our standard pickups, and we have never run the the normal data specs for them. The H3 is somewhat similar to an Evolution neck model (the Evo is a little quieter and brighter). The F1 and F2 were designed to be bridge pickups (although Ibanez used the F1 in the neck position on a few models). The F1 is somewhat like the Breed bridge model power-wise but a little darker-sounding. The F2 is a little louder, with more mids and bass."

The newer Dimarzio/IBZ's are basically like a Super D and a Super 2. Certainly not as interesting as the older F-series, but still real Dimarzios nonetheless. Some people may like that pickup combo. I personally don't, but that's just a matter of taste.
No. I teach out of a store that's an Ibanez dealer. When I bought my RGA321FSPB, I asked the owner of the store to call Ibanez and ask someone what the DiM/IBZ pickups are comparable to and the rep said THEY ARE COMPARABLE TO PAF PRO's.
Alles so ne Sache. Satriani-PU

The DiMarzio®/IBZ pickups in the Ibanez RG2120 and RG2570EX are specifically designed and manufactured by DiMarzio® for Ibanez, and they are not available separately. Like all DiMarzio® pickups, they are made in our New York factory. Both neck and bridge pickups are high-output models. The neck pickup is fairly bright-sounding, similar to a Super 2 (DP104). The bridge pickup is a little louder and warmer-sounding, and resembles a cross between the Steve Morse Bridge Model (DP200) and the Super Distortion® (DP100). The R1 single-coil is warmer-sounding than a typical vintage single-coil, and was designed to work well with the neck and bridge humbuckers when they are in split mode. It has a sound similar to that of the HS-2 in split-coil mode.
