After I hooked up my rig in stereo, I was bummed, I was like "wtf Boss? How could y'all not get stereo panning right!?!" It just seemed like it was splitting the signal to two destinations, not actually panning between them. Well, while exploring the factory presets, I kept hearing subtle panning in some of the slow attack, Terra Echo, etc., so I knew it was possible. I kept finding this panning parameter where the readout kept automatically scrolling quickly from L100-R100, then I discovered where it was, it was in the Wave Pedal!!!
So this **** is amaze-balls now. You can really control the panning to your liking, make it super subtle, or super psychedelic. And you can have the wave be sine, triangle, or saw. Whats even greater is you can tweak the TRG: Direct Pan levels with the wave pedal assign, so you can have the direct signal go with, against, behind, etc. of the wet signal. With direct and wet running opposite of each other, it is a quasi-univibe effect. & finding the correct ratio between opposing direct & wet panning is the key to getting the ping-pong "bounce". With the wave speed way down/off, you get this awesome phaser-y sweep.
